1. Conquering the Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition 2021
Launched in February 2021, the 4th Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition, themed “Women Entrepreneurs Elevating the OCOP Brand,” drew the participation of 1,549 project proposals and ideas. The majority of these projects showcased passion, ambition, and a pioneering spirit in their approach to business innovation. This entrepreneurship initiative has been instrumental in nurturing the intrinsic capabilities and creativity of Vietnamese women, contributing significantly to both economic and social development.
The award ceremony of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition 2021 was held on October 15th, in the form of offline and online in Hanoi, and 21 other locations across the country. It honored 24 outstanding entrepreneurial projects with a total prize value of nearly 2.5 billion Vietnamese Dong, along with various valuable rewards.
Following six months of intensive preparation, which included completing all the necessary documentation and participating in presentation rounds, Smartos has successfully emerged as one of the finalists in the National Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition 2021. Out of 1,549 projects from across the country, Smartos has received the Promising Award.

This marks Smartos’ inaugural participation in the competition, and Smartos proudly stands as the sole representative from Da Nang City, among the 23 honored projects this year, the award was presented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union. This recognition serves as a significant source of motivation for Smartos to persistently refine and elevate the quality of our products. Furthermore, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our cherished customers and partners, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in our journey.
2. The journey of founding Smartos by women entrepreneurs in the 4.0 era
The founder of the Smartos is Ms. Tran Hanh Trang – CEO and founder of Enouvo Group, who said that “ Smartos was originally built to solve the problems that her company was facing when managing 2 shared workspaces manually”.
“Understanding the difficulties, we realized that simplifying and automating the work process is essential. Before using Smartos, Enouvo used Excel software to manage the process of booking, check-in, check-out, and invoicing… All had to be done manually, which was quite time-consuming and prone to errors. We also tried to find some similar software, but most of them were designed for hotel management,” Ms. Trang said.
With experience in developing information technology products, Ms. Trang and Enouvo’s female technical team came up with the idea, design, and construction of specialized software for managing and operating shared workspaces.

As per Ms. Trang, certain global entities have already adopted applications for shared workspace management. However, two key challenges persist: the elevated expenses associated with utilizing solutions priced at developed country market rates and a lack of alignment with the specific business traits of the Vietnamese market. The objective of this application is to furnish an intelligent management platform at a cost-effective rate, tailor-made for the needs of startups and small to medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam.
On October 15th, Smartos emerged as one of the top three projects to deliver promising outcomes at the National Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition 2021, bringing joy to all the members of our company.

The recognition received in the 2021 Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition serves as an inspiring testament to the passion, innovation, and creativity of women within our organization. It underscores the ingenuity of women in the startup journey and reaffirms their proficiency in mastering technology, both in daily life and business, during this era of digital technology,” remarked Ms. Trang.
